Foundation Favorites

Good morning~

Most of the questions I get about makeup are about foundation.
I will list my favorites.

It is important to start with clean skin and primer.
I like a primer like Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer.

I make up the eyes before I do the skin because of fallout from eye shadow.

Foundation I use the most for beauty photography and bridal is MAC Face and Body and Make Up For Ever Matte Foundation.
For every day use I like Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with spf 20 or Bare Minerals over moisturizer. Allow the moisturizer to sink into the skin before applying powder products. About 10-15 minutes. You can makeup your eyes or tweeze brows while you wait.
Apply foundation with a foundation brush or a latex free sponge wedge, slightly misted with lavender spritzer prior to using. The dampness prevents the foundation from just sinking in the sponge. Blend well and set with loose setting powder, like Bobbi Brown's in yellow number 1-with a brush or powder puff. A little goes a long way.
